Sony Details Full Character Roster for 'Until Dawn 2'

Sony Interactive Entertainment has completed its character reveal campaign for *Until Dawn 2*, detailing the entire ensemble of protagonists who will anchor the upcoming interactive horror sequel. The title is scheduled to launch on January 28, 2027, according to reporting from GamesBeat.

The sequel centers on Dead True, an ambitious team of paranormal investigators thrust into lethal supernatural scenarios. Sony and developer Firesprite rolled out individual spotlights across social channels before publishing complete character profiles, backstories and relationship details on the game's official website.

Mechanically, the follow-up retains the branching narrative structure established by the 2015 original. Player decisions will directly dictate group dynamics, interpersonal trust and narrative outcomes, with every choice determining which members of the ghost-hunting squad survive the night.

For Sony, expanding the *Until Dawn* property underscores an ongoing studio strategy to nurture cinematic, narrative-heavy franchises with crossover potential. As interactive drama continues to intersect with traditional entertainment, Hollywood Tomorrow notes that ensemble horror remains one of the most reliable genres for engaging audiences through high-stakes character agency.

The project represents the next major chapter for the horror franchise more than a decade after its predecessor debuted on PlayStation 4, leaning further into cinematic storytelling and ensemble survival gameplay.
