What we collect

If you join the morning memo we store the email address you submit and the date you submitted it. Nothing else is required to read the site.

What we do with it

Newsletter addresses are held so the desk knows who has asked to hear from us. We do not sell addresses, and we do not share them with advertisers.

Email we send

We do not currently send confirmation email or automated mailings. Subscribing records your interest and nothing arrives in your inbox until we say otherwise on this page.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses only the storage required to keep an editor signed in to the newsroom area. Readers are not tracked across other sites.

Removal

Write to the address on the contact page and we will delete your record from the subscriber list.

Third party content

Stories link back to originating publishers and social accounts. Those sites have their own policies, which we do not control.
