South Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM has closed worldwide distribution agreements across 118 international territories for *Paradise Lost*, the latest psychological thriller from director Yeon Sang-ho.
According to Deadline, indie distributor Well Go USA has picked up the North American rights to the title. Key territorial agreements also include Twin taking distribution in Japan and The Jokers Films securing rights in France.
Alongside the global sales push, the feature is scheduled to make its United States premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival, where it will screen as part of the festival's Spotlight on Korea program.
Yeon established a substantial international following after his 2016 zombie hit *Train to Busan* broke box office records across Asia and gained broad cult appeal in Western markets. Since then, the director has steadily generated genre features and series designed for cross-border appeal.
For Hollywood Tomorrow, the swift volume of pre-sales signals that high-concept Korean genre titles remain dependable commercial assets for foreign buyers, particularly independent distributors looking to anchor their theatrical and digital slates with established creative brands.
