The White House communications roster is expanding with talent pulled directly from right-leaning media, bringing on 24-year-old broadcast correspondent Beni Rae Harmony as assistant press secretary.
Harmony confirmed her appointment on X on Friday evening following an initial report by TMZ, according to coverage by TheWrap. She had been reporting from the briefing room as the White House correspondent for conservative network Real America's Voice since joining the channel in September 2025.
In her public announcement, Harmony expressed gratitude to Donald Trump for the post, writing that she looks forward to "serving the American people and continuing to fight for the American Dream." She also highlighted her tenure at Real America's Voice, stating her mission had centered on making sure viewers' voices were heard while covering the administration.
The staffing addition comes amid an ongoing search for a top White House press secretary. Karoline Leavitt stepped down from that role at the end of August, an exit Trump announced on Truth Social while noting her decision to dedicate more time to her young family.
As Hollywood Tomorrow continues to track media-to-government career pipelines, the hiring illustrates how alternative and digital broadcast platforms are increasingly functioning as primary talent farm systems for White House press operations.
