Sandra Hüller to Lead Maria Schrader Drama 'Arbeit und Struktur'

Sandra Hüller is set to star in *Arbeit und Struktur*, the upcoming feature from director Maria Schrader, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The biographical drama will feature Hüller as German writer and artist Wolfgang Herrndorf. The project explores Herrndorf's experiences and output as he confronted terminal illness and mortality.

Schrader steps into the director's chair following her work on the Universal journalism drama *She Said* and the sci-fi romance *I'm Your Man*. The new project marks a return to German-language filmmaking for the director.

## Prestige European Packaging

Herrndorf's blog and subsequent posthumously published book *Arbeit und Struktur* documented his life, artistic process, and thoughts following a diagnosis of terminal brain cancer before his death in 2013.

The casting continues a high-profile run for Hüller, whose profile surged globally following celebrated performances in *Anatomy of a Fall*, which earned her an Academy Award nomination, and the Oscar-winning historical drama *The Zone of Interest*.

For the European film market, attaching two of Germany's most globally recognized cinematic figures immediately positions the indie production as an attractive festival contender and international sales asset.
