Katseye Confirms Sophia Laforteza's Return Following Brief Hiatus

Global girl group Katseye is preparing to operate as a complete unit again following the return of member Sophia Laforteza from a temporary hiatus.

Group members Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeung addressed Laforteza's comeback while walking the red carpet at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday, according to reports sourced by Variety via E! News.

"We are so happy that she’s coming back," Raj said during the event, emphasizing the group's internal support for their bandmate.

## Roster Continuity

Laforteza's brief absence marked an early operational test for the multinational act, which was formed through a high-profile joint venture between Hybe and Geffen Records following the reality competition series *The Debut: Dream Academy*.

For newly launched global pop projects, lineup stability is critical during initial promotional cycles. As Hollywood Tomorrow notes, maintaining momentum across disparate territories requires consistent multi-member visibility, particularly as major Western music divisions continue adopting K-pop-style training and development frameworks.

With Laforteza returning to active participation, the six-piece ensemble is positioned to resume full-strength promotional and performance schedules as their current campaign continues.
