Erika Kirk marked the one-year anniversary of the assassination of conservative media figure Charlie Kirk on Thursday, posting a social media tribute to the late Turning Point USA co-founder. The political commentator was killed on Sept. 10, 2025, during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University at age 31.
In a post on Instagram reported by TheWrap, Kirk shared a wedding photograph accompanied by the caption, "...until Heaven." The couple had two children prior to his death.
Following the shooting, Erika Kirk assumed the role of chief executive officer at Turning Point USA, the student advocacy and media organization her late husband built into a major conservative platform.
Meanwhile, the organization has kept Kirk's flagship audio property in circulation. "The Charlie Kirk Show" podcast and syndicated radio program continues broadcasting, now co-hosted by Andrew Kolvet and Blake Neff.
TPUSA issued its own memorial statement on Thursday, describing the shooting as an event that changed history and recounting the difficulties of maintaining operations without its central public face over the past twelve months.
The transition illustrates the operational challenges digital media networks face following the sudden loss of their primary on-air talent. Sustaining listener engagement and organizational momentum often relies on institutionalizing personality-driven formats under successor hosts.
