CMI Media Group and Compas have launched Ad Astra, a dedicated business division designed to unify fragmented advertising workflows and siloed data across disparate channels, according to Digiday.

The initiative was spearheaded by Oleg Korenfeld, group president of tech and platforms at CMI Media Group and Compas, alongside chief product officer Jose Ferreira. The unit rolled out this past June to service advertisers, publishers, and media agencies.

As media consumption splinters across digital networks and streaming platforms, marketing teams increasingly struggle to coordinate audience data. Digiday reported that structural silos continue to complicate creative deployment, frequency caps, budgeting, and holistic performance measurement.

Through Ad Astra, the agencies aim to transform isolated marketing efforts into interconnected infrastructure, enabling buyers to plan across channels and derive more comprehensive data insights.

Hollywood Tomorrow notes that as the entertainment and advertising ecosystems fracture further across ad-supported streaming tiers and digital video networks, managing audience overlap and frequency has become a critical operational hurdle for major media spenders.
