CBS is preparing to roll out the fourth season of its drama series "Tracker," returning star Justin Hartley to the Sunday primetime lineup on Oct. 4, according to broadcast details reported by TheWrap.

The season opener will air at a special time of 9:30 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT on CBS before settling into its regular 9 p.m. ET/PT slot for subsequent weeks. In addition to linear broadcast, episodes will be available on Paramount+, where premium subscribers can watch live and on demand immediately, while essential tier subscribers receive access the following day on Mondays.

## Episode Rollout and Plot Details

Hartley reprises his leading role as survivalist and reward tracker Colter Shaw. The premiere episode, titled "Safe Harbor," follows Shaw as his search for a missing father leads to a criminal syndicate operating out of the Port of Los Angeles.

Subsequent episodes on the initial autumn slate include "Switchback" on Oct. 11 and "Original Parts" on Oct. 18. The series also stars Fiona Rene as Renee Green.

While CBS has not yet announced a formal renewal for Season 5, the procedural has maintained solid broadcast numbers since its launch, positioning the property favorably for continued expansion.

For CBS and parent company Paramount, veteran-led procedural dramas remain central to stabilizing linear viewership while feeding streaming pipelines. As Hollywood Tomorrow regularly notes, coordinated Sunday scheduling across linear television and tiered SVOD windows serves as a critical driver for platform conversion in an increasingly fragmented TV landscape.
